Thomas Edison Made Phonographs in Bloomfield

It appears that the factory was at the corner on Broad and Liberty Streets, where the Masonic building now sits, but scheduled for a makeover.

Ezra Gilliland established a factory to manufacture the new Edison wax-cylinder phonograph in 1887. It was located at corner of Liberty and Broad Streets in Bloomfield.(edison.rutgers.edu).
